Some Structure

I am a big fan of structure when it comes to fashion. Even on a casual day, I often lean towards a tailored or structured look and then add softness as I go. I found some items in Second Life that I was drawn to and that do structure really well.

Back in the day (I can say that seeing as I was born in 2006 in SL!), there were these things called System Skirts. They were prim-less, so most people hated them. I happened to love them and it never bothered me that my avatar looked like it had a little more shape on the backside of things. Today, although the fitted skirts are all mesh, they’re reminiscent of the slim fits of those system skirts and they are my favorite silhouettes.

Today is this avatar’s real life birthday. I am off to enjoy what I hope will be a quiet relaxing birthday 🙂
