I’m styling to Sombr. It was bound to happen eventually. The music, plus a heavy hand with depth blur, and I feel like I may have captured the right disorienting rush of that first drag after several drinks. When I used to smoke, that is. I certainly still drink.
I spent the work week in NYC but managed to sprinkle some fun into the mix, including a broadway show (The Book of Mormon) and some very good eats – all with colleagues. Things are definitely looking up btw. I feel brighter and lighter, and it’s not just my current G&T, which incidentally, is perfect for this midsummer evening. Maybe it’s also because I am settling into my new house and am finally in my own bed again.
It feels pretty good.
