Going out the same way I came in

This New Year, I am going out in much the same way as I came in. In fact, while revisiting so many of my favorites from SL 2022, they are – unsurprisingly – similar to my lists from 2021, 2020…and beyond.

Notably, I especially enjoyed:

• My LeLutka EvoX Inez head (been wearing her since she came out almost religiously)
• Favorite new skins from LeLAPEAU, Eudora Beauty, Lara Hurley and Not Found, among some others, plus yes from Tville.
• A really good hair year thanks to the usual suspects (like Doux and Stealthic), plus some great weekend sale steals from brands like Faga and Wings.
• Classic oversized trousers (best release in ALL of 2022 for me) from Amitomo and a new brand that I eagerly await more from – HILO.
• Growing my Tres Blah and (FD) collections. Two of my absolute favorite SL creators of all time.
• Switching bodies from Maitreya (Petite) to Legacy Perky. Most of my favorite designers still have options for the Perky body – but not all and it does seem to be declining. Hopefully I won’t have to switch back!
• Abundant accessory choices – especially bags – from favorites ryvolter and newer brand DDL (although not including a picture of the item in each pack is absolutely criminal when their naming is so obscure), plus jewelry almost entirely from (Yummy).
• New event entrant The Fifty, which seems to have attracted a lot of the brands I favor. At the same time, other events that I previously enjoyed (Uber, for example) have gotten further away from my aesthetic, so my options seem to be shrinking atm.
• Weekend sales. I am certain they have accounted for more than half of my 2022 inventory!
