This is Julia. Another well-made mesh head from Genesis Lab. She’s available only as a gacha at Kustom9. I would normally bitch about gacha but here, it’s only $99L/play and no matter what, you’ll get a usable mesh head with all the applier trimmings. There are several rare and ultra rares that you can play for, including a blinking model and all expression HUD. I’m wearing the all expression model here, showing the “relaxed” expression. The ears, tongue and teeth are pieces you add.
Julia is available in two tones – milk and cappuccino – and each head comes with Maitreya Lara, Slink Hands and Feet, and other basic appliers. Again, very smart approach to ensure that you can wear your head basically out of the box. More head makers need to follow this approach! There are also special makeup HUDs available as prizes, like the below, which is #19 glam.
My preference with mesh heads so far is that I am not as interested in different expressions beyond mouth open/eyes open, but totally understand why others want them. Below is what eyes closed looks like on the Blink model, which is an ultra rare prize. There are no lashes included on the heads, so you have to fit your own, which you can see I didn’t do with the eyes closed version.
I do believe Julia is one of my favorite heads I have tried to date. I am very fond of her already. I really prefer striking and different looking to pretty much anything else and she definitely stands out.
