I have crankypants on. They are so uncomfortable that I am not showing you. But seriously, when it’s April and Mother (f-ing) Nature decides to give you 8 inches of snow, crankypants are a given. Also, so very little is inspiring me in SL fashion/beauty that I really haven’t felt compelled to blog. Just crankypants all around.
The couple bright spots for me have been the release of the new Sarah mesh head from Catwa and new color pack from Magika. I am enjoying both a lot. Sarah is very much in the Gwen style, so she’s pretty but not too pretty if that makes sense. I tried on a bunch of my Catwa appliers and I like most of them on Sarah, so that’s good. I think customers will really appreciate Catwa’s new pricing model that lets you only buy what you know you’ll use in head features. A base head, plus add-ons makes a lot of sense to me.
The new 04 color pack from Magika has both unreal and very realistic color options. I happen to love it and suspect this will be my new default pack. I have always loved Sabina’s hair textures.
Stuff I have not been enjoying includes buying a hair @Fameshed, not receiving said hair (it happens), but then sending a notecard to the creator with detailed information on what went wrong and that even re-delivery wasn’t working; wait 3 days and hear nothing, revisit the re-delivery terminal and receive…the wrong hair…not even remotely close to what I bought. At this point, meh. Oh and new events that are laggy, hard to traverse (pretty to look at but hard to get around) and have a lack of truly new items, make me cranky too ^^
