I think we all understand building a look around one piece only. We have something in mind we must wear; and we can spend daysssss, weeks, etc. (and a lot of money) trying to build just the right look around it. Because whatever it is speaks to us.
IRL I recently did this with a pageboy cap I bought (I ended up finding the perfect tweed pants, laced boots, and chocolate cashmere sweater btw. It took a month >.<). In SL, it was this necklace set from Glam Affair.
I am guessing this would be lost on most men 😛 but if you look, the chain on the skirt mirrors the links on the necklace. Yes, it was intentional. Yes, I am happy with the result. No, I won’t say how long it took me to find this ^^
The point is, the necklace drove the desire to find something bold enough to go with it. This is a delicate but striking set. It requires something that is very strong but still allows the main pieces to stand out for their beauty.
