This is Spirit. I mean my skin of course. It’s SPIRIT Skins Mao for LeLutka and you can find it @Collabor88. I have to say, I didn’t go crazy for much at this C88 Birthday round in terms of fashion, as latex isn’t as much my thing (I tried!). But, the hairs, skins, and these great jeweled heels from #Empire… Read more →
May I just say how much I didn’t expect to like this particular new “May” head from LeLutka as much as I do. Like so many of you, I am playing with the new LeLutka Bento heads and they are masterful. But for a diehard “Simone’r”…can they sneak into my rotation? From a functionality perspective, no one – it needs… Read more →
Can you believe this face is the same? Two remarkably different looks courtesy of Powder Pack for LeLutka. The August Powder Pack was not my favorite in terms of overall content but there were still some real gems for me. Like the lashes from Avi-Glam for example, and perhaps most especially, the skins from Pumec and The Face. Two more… Read more →
I mentioned in my last post that I picked up a skin at Mesh Body Addicts that I am completely and utterly smitten with. In fact, I am experiencing a similar reaction to this one. And of course that’s because it’s the same creator: alaskametro. There is something so beautifully unique, interesting and real about alaskametro skins. 100% smitten once… Read more →
Today’s style called for a complete restyle of these lived-in flared jeans I’ve had for years. With newness from Stories & Co. by Flowey, I love the casual, later summer look. It was not lost on me how the new Annabelle Bodysuit @Uber comes in a perfect nude fatpack. In my mind it will be the “Gillian pack” for how… Read more →
Can you feel that first hint of autumn when it creeps into the evening or overnight? I can. Even in July. This morning IRL I started mentally shopping for transition styles, which of course led me to doing the same in SL. This is where I ended up on this cool and fall-like day in Boston: a nod to fall… Read more →
With sincere apologies to all my real French friends and readers, I say oui! To my favorite city in the world; to my fashion dreams; and to all the adventures I hope to have this week in Paris! I am wearing some of my favorite new pieces that I thought came together for a fun, “fake French” look on my… Read more →
I did say that Hair Fair was inspiring so many fashion ideas in my mind that I then set out to build. Tableau Vivant’s Tuko is one of them. And so is Powder Pack for LeLutka. I mean, hi, the skin from Modish might actually be my most favorite skin offered in Powder Pack to date. In fact, this whole… Read more →
Is your inventory ready for the deluge of content that is Hair Fair in Second Life? Hair Fair 2017 kicks off this weekend and I am sooooooo excited to go hair wild during a preview on Friday. I’ll be blogging my picks that day! To get organized, I suggest joining the Hair Fair Demo Group! Just copy and paste the… Read more →
Like the rest of the SL fashion set, my summer short is a great pixie cut courtesy of Tram. How are you guys liking Uber this round anyway? My favorite thing of all? New skin applier from Spirit. I don’t love the moles on the body appliers’ decolletage (available separately at their man store) and Madina comes with no makeup… Read more →
I love a pretty primrose yellow. I think it’s probably an especially tough tone to get right in a pixelated world and often looks too mustard-y in my favorite windlights. But all my pretty primrose accessories here in this Springy look are anything but “mustard-y.” I <3 a sunny day – or an outfit that makes me think of a… Read more →
Elika is someone I have known for a decade 😮 If you don’t know her, please let me be a little hyperbolic for a moment. She is incredibly witty, funny, gifted, beautiful, patriotic, and most importantly, a dedicated and amazing mother. I adore her. I also happen to adore her hair in Second Life – obviously – so with much… Read more →
I have to be very brief today so here is a look at a few things on my shopping list. Led by this summery wrapped top and light jacket, I admit it’s a feast of neutrals. I love the look and am always happy when enfant terrible pops up with another example of what it does so well – soft,… Read more →
I love a good sale. And I wait for months and months for really good ones at my favorite sites or stores offline. Right now IRL I am stocking up at net-a-porte’s seasonal sale and in Second Life, I’m stocking up at Rowne. I think the sale probably ends today (!!) but it’s worth a stop over if you have… Read more →
This may be the easiest styling I’ve ever done. This hot bodysuit is by Fashionably Dead @Collabor88. Very simple, very classic, and great for layering. But not today. Today the bodysuit comes out from under all the things I usually cover them up with. In other news, I am pretty thrilled with so many great hairs out and about. Like… Read more →
