right sized

I’ve gotten very into a slightly oversized look IRL. For day-to-day, to me that’s actually right sized. You don’t see a lot of that in Second Life, since 90% of new clothing (can’t really call it ‘fashion’) is, shall we say, made to appeal to a different aesthetic. It really stands out when I see something that manages to be sexy by being strong instead of slutty.

So yes, I love this new suit from David Heather (though it does not come in a Perky fit). I wish that the hem on the trousers was shorter so I could wear a specific heel I had in mind, but the rest is pretty masterful if you’re a fan of hand-drawn. It’s a single outfit so you can’t break it up in any way, but you can change the blouse color. The textures – particularly on the blouse – are really special IMO. It doesn’t need a lot of accessorizing so I only added a “G” necklace and a mixed texture clutch, in addition to cluster clip on earrings, also from DH.
