indulge

The time between Christmas and New Years has always been my time to really indulge; stop running around and only do things that I truly enjoy. This year, instead of sinking further into my sofa or bingeing on Netflix, I’m indulging in some of the things I take for granted while living in Boston all year round.

This week you’ll find me all dressed up at some of the best Boston has to offer – the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker, a daytime visit to Isabella Gardner Museum, and then a special candlelight concert at the Boston Pops. I’m dressing up my avatar so she doesn’t feel left out of the pomp.

To be honest, it’s very rare for me to do things like this, but starting a new job in January, followed by international travel, it’s likely the last time for a while that I’ll have to play tourist in my own city. I’m so excited!
