Don’t Call it a Duck Face

Don’t call it a duck face. It’s my serious face. Seriously interesting and beautiful in a young, quirky way. This is is Rebel from LAQ and I liked it immediately but I was slow to wear it because I needed a skin I really liked to go with the shape that I have now grown rather attached to. It’s actually a shape I made for a completely different head that worked best for the stylized look I favor.

If, like me, you keep a huge arsenal of appliers at the ready for your favorite heads, then you’ll appreciate how many changes it can take to create the look you have in mind. After all, I am one of those people that changes skins more often than I change clothing in SL. I get bored with one look so easily. The only issue I have with LAQ heads is that there aren’t many of my favorite skin makers who create for LAQ heads regularly.

My avatar is pretty bundled up today, wearing a long coat from David Heather. This creator has some of the best mesh I have ever worn in Second Life. The designs are “ripped from the IRL runway” so to speak and are exceptional representations of high fashion in a virtual world. You have to admire the execution.

I am traveling to London until next weekend for work. I won’t be around much at all before that, so I will most likely see you in a week or more!
