You know how I said I wasn’t that inspired and in general, I wasn’t finding much inspiring me inside SL fashion? Be careful what you wish for. This gown from Belle Epoque is incredibly inspiring from every angle. More Snow White & the Huntsman than everyday SL layercake gown, I absolutely adore it. I mean, how could I resist?
My headpiece is from .Or., a creator who reached out to me to introduce their designs. I appreciate when a creator thinks they might be making something I would like to try or blog. I would never have known about OrManga’s creations and a simple note was an easy introduction. While this isn’t something I would wear every day – I do very much appreciate original work. I follow haute couture IRL and it’s a designation that’s thrown around in SL (and RL) too often. So I will just say that whatever designation you want to assign both the dress and the headpiece, I’ll just call them, “higher fashion” that I enjoy!
