You may know, I love most things French – the food, the cities, and most especially, the style. French women are the most chic creatures on earth, IMO. I have been pouring over Instagram and Vogue watching the Spring couture collections as they roll through Paris. My favorite look from Dior so far. Meanwhile in Second Life…
My look today is inspired by those chic French girls, unafraid of color, bare legs in winter, and fur (mine is faux, of course).
Granny pants and cardigans?
I mentioned in my last post I am currently struggling with inspiration in SL. I use this platform mostly as a way to explore fashion and styling (clothing as well as home decor) but sometimes, there just isn’t anything that suits and it’s much more miss than hit. I know, I know, people send me notes all the time that the kind of clothes I crave don’t sell well in Second Life. But I actually don’t think that’s true. It’s not like I want to wear granny pants and cardigans. I just prefer something a little more creative than another micro miniskirt with ruffles. Something in between that and RL couture would be great.
I am hopeful that I’ll find some new inspiration at Uber. If not, then I will keep styling with some older inventory that I really like when the mood strikes me 🙂 One thing phases like this do to me is make me try all kinds of skins in my inventory that I haven’t tried on in ages. Then I fall in love by adding makeups from Powder Pack.
