I popped over to the just opened “pop up shop” for the forthcoming collaborative brand between Elikapeka Tiramisu and Darling Monday called, White River Co.
Right now it’s a small sampling of the inventory that will presumably be released when the main store opens soon. For now, you can get a sense of the aesthetic through a few key pieces and hairstyles. Lucky for me, staple separates are my favorite collectibles and this aesthetic is decidedly simple, un-fussy and super chic.
The delicate “silk” shorts are perfection (check out the zip detail in the back) and the color palette has my name all over it. Neutrals, basics and buildables for a useful fall SL wardrobe. My only nitpick is that I would prefer two versions of the blouse – a longer version, tucked, would be much appreciated and more mixable for the future. There are fatpacks for everything available, including the two hairstyles. Note, the clothing is only for Maitreya or Hourglass.
I am jonesing for Autumn now as we sit through another brutal heat wave week. You’ll be seeing a lot more “transition” styles like these on my blog if I can find more of them in SL! I think I can count on this new brand to deliver those and much more.
