limelight

I spent last week in NYC again – in long meetings at my (new job) company’s headquarters. Less than one block away is an old church that used to be an pretty famous spot for “club kids” of the 80s and 90s. Google Limelight if you haven’t heard of it. It’s now a gym, I believe. I wasn’t a club kid (my parents were relaxed but not that relaxed), but Limelight was the first NYC club I went to long before I would have been officially welcome at the 18+ establishment. Ironic that I now work practically across the street.

So, today’s style is in honor of my youth in and around Manhattan. Now – much older obv – I prefer Boston to my hometown. But it is always energizing – and somehow humbling – to come back regularly for my now, very corporate job.
