in a time vortex

I’m in a time vortex. No seriously, I’ve been subsumed by a mass of whirling minutes that just disappears into the four dimensional space-time continuum. There is no time available to thoughtfully pause and blog. There is no time to organize an actual life for my actual life – either life!

For example, I styled this outfit a week ago and then didn’t blog until now. By the way, I am sitting here with a viral (thanks TikTok Shop) “deep collagen” facial mask on while I type this on a Friday night after having spent part of the work week in Baltimore where I discovered that every ride in a Tesla (Ubering, as you do) makes me violently ill. Apparently this is a well-known issue for people prone to motion sickness like me. This is my life right now. But at least my skin will look amazing tomorrow for … my dog and hair stylist?

Before I go, let me just say one actual thing about this style. These laced mules from Pare (available at Collabor88) are SO GOOD. Like, the best in my inventory. Where did this brand come from? Is it a re-name? I have only just noticed them at a couple other recent events. I checked out the Pare main store (not a great layout – and hard to shop IMO) and bought the bag I’m using in the look too. Made me very happy!
