Today was 86F outside; undoubtedly the first serious summer swelter of the season. IRL I was – dare I say it – almost chilly inside my loft (what a nice problem to have on a hot day), working away in front of my laptop in a sweatshirt. Meanwhile in SL, my avatar went full beach mode. And yes, my hair and headband are more beauties from Hair Fair 2024. A simple pony for breezy, humid heat; a headband for the flyaways.

I’m pretty happy with how this all came together in the end. I’ve been waiting to use these beautiful embroidered shorts and this finally felt like the day.
