actually romantic

If you’re a regular around here, you knew this was coming…

1. No, it’s not my favorite album right out of the gate (they rarely are)
2. Yes, I am a bit ick listening to “Wood” (I mean wtf…)
3. The more times I listen to the album, the more I love most of it (as usual)
4. So far, my favorite songs are “Actually Romantic” and “The Fate of Ophelia“

Moving on, I started with this gorgeous skirt (which I picked up in several colors) and styled around this special piece as my “anchor.” I love mixing all these different textures – especially with the advent of PBR, which adds so much detail and depth. The rest is, as always, a mix of old, super new, newish, well-loved and positively ancient.

ps – someone asked me recently why I have turned off comments on my blog. TBH. I got tired of clearing 70 spam comments for every entry so when I remember to, I keep comments off. My posts don’t usually get a lot of comments historically so I figured it was ok 😉
