Sasy let me know this fun challenge was coming my way and unexpectedly, it’s made me stop and take stock of my blogging journey in SL in ways that I never have before. I deeply appreciate the pause in my RL to consider how very long I’ve been doing this in one way or another over nearly 2 decades (with a long break in between).
So…here are some of my answers to the questions that I thought others might find most interesting, particularly if they’re newer to me/DeuxLooks. I added a cut so my wall o’ text won’t crit quite as hard. You can click through but don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉

- When did you start your Second Life Blog?
The original DeuxLooks began in 2007! OMG. That is bizarre to write. I actually didn’t know the year! I came back in 2016 and re-started DeuxLooks v2 in 2017, I think. The old blog is long gone now but the old photos are still available on my Flickr. - Why did you start Blogging in Second Life?
I don’t remember if there was a “reason” – but I have always loved fashion IRL and used to keep a semi-regular LOTD on MySpace way back when (lol). Once I started in SL, I got really serious about it. Back then, it was very different than now. For one thing, there were no “sponsors” and blogging was personal and editorial, not a task or job. More on that later…
