I am pleasantly surprised I am able to log-in to SL on my new laptop and even snap some styles (though I forgot to turn on high rez screenshots, I just realized). This is especially important as I really needed a quiet, non-obvious stress reliever during this especially stressful time being away for an unknown length of time. Perhaps I am not as “brb” as I usually am while away for family reasons.

Anyway, I don’t know if the quality of the snaps will be as good even when I set up the settings properly but here we are.

I am wearing the same skin from Stray Dog I have been enjoying for the last several blogs/weeks. This is one of the very few skins I have loved enough to wear again and again – and the first of this new year (all four days in). The whole look reminds me of an ancient head/skin combination from Fiori (RIP) that I loved forever. Also, it’s remarkable how far texture quality in Second Life has come.

Though my full look is more autumn than dead of winter, I was inspired by this fitted classic jacket from Boys to the Bone (BTTB) that I didn’t know existed until I went over to check out some new floods for FLF. As it happens, I had never been to their main store before and there were so many fashionable items to be had. Also, I love when – even on a single – a creator is so thoughtful to include a HUD to change or hide the shirt AND change the metal on the belt! So appreciated and worth noting.

I hope to be back before too long, and even sooner if I am inspired by new items or older ones gathering digital dust in my “to blog” folder.
