I’m back from a week in London, and as I began to blog the look I was set on (another mix of new and sale items), I realized it’s basically the same as the look I blogged just before I left. Different, but pretty much the same. I guess “if it ain’t broke…” kind of thing.

I did some serious damage at Collabor88 when I got back into town – this new skin from Glam Affair was an instant buy – and you can see why (shown with included eye makeup). I also picked up another darker beauty from The Skinnery, which I’ll style another day. In fact, my next stop is Equal10 and the new releases at Mellow Ellie. Gird your loins!

transition

‘Tis the time for my avatar and her RL typist to transition to some richer colors for the impending season change. I love a transition. It’s another time to change something or make a big decision you’ve been putting off.

These last few days I have definitely been wearing a light jacket in the evenings IRL. 55 degrees feels like a shock after the scorchers from this summer. My avatar followed suit here and I love this jean jacket coupled with these new burnt orange high-waist trousers from COCO. I even put in a(nother) request for the creator to consider adding Legacy Perky to their list of supported bodies. It’s well past time! Please 🙂

I’m off to London this Sunday for a work week so I most likely won’t be back to blog again before I leave. But then again, you never know.

call me babe for the weekend

I am on the last days of my staycation after so much travel. I’m drinking wine, cooking dinner (baked cauliflower, baked chicken, salad), listening to Billie Eilish (although this blog title is clearly another TS lyric – then the wine kicked in). SLife is good. Actual life isn’t as clear. So for now, let’s just focus on SL. I felt like bows. I rarely resist them.

For some reason my attempt to consolidate all my snaps into a collage failed to show my heels, which are also blessed with bows. Below is a look in case that’s your thing too. Sometimes a girl just needs a bow…or bows.

I’m in and out for the next week before leaving for another work week in London. Sounds glam, right? In reality, it isn’t 😉

time is short

I cannot believe how fast August has flown by. This month – my favorite – reminds me that time is so very short.

How did it get so late so soon? – Dr. Seuss.

With the time left of the most fleeting, delicate time of year, I put together a late summer style, made up mostly of sale items, one or two things from my enormous “to blog” folder, and a quick dive into “the vault” that is my carefully curated digital wardrobe. It all makes me very happy.
